Evaluation Task 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?

In this task we will talk about audience types that are likely to watch our film, from our own analysis of our audience we we found that our audience would be a predominantly male one  with an audience age range from 18 - 40 year olds. When we obtained this information we gathered the information of two people who fit within our audience types here are there profiles below.

There are numerous reasons why these people  may watch our film. For example the males may watch our film as he watches a large majority of independent films, they may also enjoy our film as he seems to go out of his way to find certain style/ music, so there is no reason why he wouldn't do the same for film. Some reasons why our 39 year old male may find himself drawn to watching our film is because of his love of TV shows similar to our own production (Sherlock has been given feedback saying that it is 'a lot like our own production').

Another way we could find different audience types who may be interested in watching our production is by linking our production on independent media websites, or taking our film to independent film festivals using these we can get a much more clear view of just who is our 'niche' audience (how old they are, what films they enjoy, etc).
