Max also came to this shot as he moved his driving lesson around to a later date.
From filming this we discovered who was best at what, roles were then distibuted:
Nicole: Camera woman, this is because she has a good understanding of the rule of 3rds and has a steady hand with the camera. She also has a keen eye on what is key within a frame.
Ashleigh: Director/Equipment: I find that i help Nicole with seeing whether a frame looks good as well as helping direct the actors. I also am looking after the equipment and making sure it is all charged.
Max: Director, Max has shown to have some really creative ideas and therefore when we need help figuring out what looks best on a scene, Max helps show us different options that would look great for the shot.
We got it done in the right amount of time given and we are on schedule.
I have taken some photographs of the props that i made for the interrogation scene:
I made these props for our interrogation scene. I made sure that i got the correct kind of documents by searching on Google the images of what were actually inside police records. I also made our actor Matt actually put his fingerprints on the sheet and filled in the information to give it an authentic realistic feel to our scene. I wanted to make it feel as real as possible. Nicole borrowed a tape recorded from the modern foreign languages department which we used as if we were actually recording an interrogation on a witness.
These key features made our scene look as realistic as possible.
