These are just some images of locations for where our opening scene for our Thriller could take place. These are just rough ideas to help us.
On this blog you will see work from all 3 of us. You will be able to know who did or contributed to the work by the labels; we will tag the work we have done so show who did it.

Thriller location pitch.
We met up during the holidays, and discussed possible locations where we could shoot the thriller opening.
Together in one of our meetings we put together a mind map of ideas.

BBFC (To be made in a creative way?)
BBFC stands for the "British Board of Film Classification" and their role is to decide what films go into the right classification which is appropriate for audiences to watch. The classifications that films can be put into are:
- U - Stands for Universal, suitable for all ages, from age 4 upwards. These are films that have more positive morals compared to a film which is full of horror or violence.
- PG - Stands for Parental Guidance, children aged 8 and above, however, parents are advised if the content within the PG will upset younger or more sensitive children.
- 12/12A - For children aged 12 and above may view the film, some parts of the film may upset children under the age of 12 years. A child under the aged of 12 may not see a 12A unless accompanied by an adult.
- 15 - ages 15 and above, no younger, within the film there may be horror features, strong threats and menace within the films, inappropriate language may be used, nudity/sex may also be used but not strong content of it.
- 18 - ages 18 and above ONLY, very high strong content of nudity/sex scenes, drugs, violence/horror, discrimination.
Thrillers are normally classified as a 15 or 18. This is due to the content within them as some have high levels of violence, sex, language and may be disturbing to those under the age limit however, it cannot contain sexual images or a great amount of pain. Thrillers are normally aimed at older people and more towards men as thrillers have a high level of action and violence.

This is our Preliminary Final Edit which we used Final Cut to produce. We used a combination of camera angles and shots to produce this video. We added a black and white effect onto the film as well. Hope you enjoy!

Group Plan
We decided to split up the work that we will be doing in our group. It is as follows:
Chloe: Intro- summary, what is a thriller (story/theme/mood)
Nicole: Sub-Genres of thriller (explain differences)
Max: Key films and why - plot, characters & themes.
Ashleigh: Conclusion - how the thriller has developed over the decades. (stories, themes, characters)
